Holyrood Palace is where the Queen resides when she is in Scotland.
Once you have procured a ticket, you may wander through the grand halls,
shimmy up some old stairs
and view the chambers and belongings of Mary Queen of Scots,
and view the chambers and belongings of Mary Queen of Scots,
then promenade through the remains of the old Abbey
and the lovely gardens as well.
Admittedly, you are only allowed to use your camera outside of the palace,
in the Abbey or the grounds.
